CSI: Miami (Crime Scene Investigation: Miami) is an American police procedural television series, which premiered on September 23, 2002 on CBS. THE AMAZING RACE [2010] [SEASON 17] EPISODE 02

Synopsis:

CBS renewed the 17th edition of The Amazing Race on January 25, 2010. The season premiered on September 26, 2010 with a special 90-minute episode; it will return to its regular hour-long format the following week.This season will span 32,000 miles (51,000 km) while racing across four continents, with first-time visits to Ghana and Bangladesh, and for the first time in the show's history, teams will cross the Arctic Circle.

Filming began on May 26, 2010, with the starting line at the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester, Massachusetts making this the first season since The Amazing Race All-Stars to start in a city other than Los Angeles. According to CBS, the team that finishes first in the premiere episode will get a surprise, game changing advantage. The new introduction, known as "Express Pass", allows the team to skip challenge once at any point during first eight legs.

Prior to the Race's broadcast, CBS posted a short preview video clip from an episode on the Internet, showing Brook & Claire competing at a watermelon launching challenge using an elastic slingshot. The clip showed Claire, manning the slingshot, being hit in the face full-on with a watermelon after it failed to launch correctly, leaving her momentarily stunned but otherwise not seriously injured. The clip spread among the internet in a viral manner. Phil Keoghan began both the season and the video background segments of the contestants while standing on the grass mall of Castle Hill (Ipswich, Massachusetts).

DEXTER [2010] [SEASON 5] EPISODE 02 720p

Synopsis:

Showtime renewed Dexter for a fifth season, which premiered on September 26, 2010. Julia Stiles will guest star in 10 episodes as Lumen, a new woman in Dexter's life. Shawn Hatosy will appear in a multiple episode arc as a "bad guy". Maria Doyle Kennedy will also join the cast of Dexter in Season 5 as an Irish nanny. April Lee Hernandez has been called for a recurring role as a police officer. Jonny Lee Miller has been added to the cast as “a mysterious man who is 'intricately involved' in a storyline with Julia Stiles." Peter Weller  will also join the cast, playing "a troubled Miami Metro police officer who gets caught up in an internal affairs investigation." The actor will appear in eight of the twelve episodes. Chris Vance will play a character named Cole, a meticulous, well-spoken personal aide to a famous businessman, in at least three episodes.  The first episode of Season 5, which premiered on Sunday 26th of September focuses primarily on how Dexter deals with his recent loss, coming to terms with the death of his spouse and allowing some human emotions to be expressed.

On July 24, 2010, a trailer was screened at Comic-Con, an annual fan convention in San Diego, California. Dexter appears to be a principal suspect in Rita's murder, struggles to satisfy the Dark Passenger while being a single father, and must also contend with a very bitter Astor.

SUPERNATURAL [2010] [SEASON 6] EPISODE 02

Synopsis:

WCreator Eric Kripke originally planned for the show to last only five seasons, but due to increased ratings from the fourth and fifth seasons, the CW network renewed the series for a sixth season.  Kripke has confirmed he will not be returning as showrunner; however, he will still remain as a hands-on executive producer, leaving Executive Producer Sera Gamble to take over the reins.

Gamble said the sixth season of the show will focus on the brothers' relationship. The season will steer towards the format of the early seasons with "lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and...a season-long story arc to weave in". According to a press release by the CW, Heaven and Hell are now in "complete disarray", forcing Sam and Dean to reunite to "beat back the rising tide of creatures and demon-spawn" that "roam across a lawless and chaotic landscape".

Filming for the season began with the Ackles-directed fourth episode, "Weekend at Bobby's", to give the actor enough time for preproduction.Misha Collins will return as series regular Castiel, as will Jim Beaver as Bobby Singer.[Mitch Pileggi will make multiple appearances as Sam and Dean's grandfather. The recurring role of Christian, the maternal cousin of Sam and Dean, was given to Corin Nemec; he is described as "capable, calm under pressure, and very good at his job". Kim Rhodes will return as Sheriff Jody Mills, as will Fredric Lehne as Azazel.

The season will air on Fridays at 9:00 pm in the United States on the CW and will premiere on September 24, 2010..

BLUE BLOODS [2010] [SEASON 1] EPISODE 02

Synopsis:

Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is the New York Chief of Police and patriarch of the Reagan brood, which he heads as diplomatically as he does the force, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief. THE MENTALIST [2010] [SEASON 3] EPISODE 02

Synopsis:

The Mentalist follows Simon Baker as Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) based in Sacramento, California. Although not an officer of the law of any sort, he uses skills and knowledge from his former career as a successful psychic medium  (which was a ruse, as he does not believe anyone actually has psychic abilities) to help a team of CBI agents solve various crimes, with the hope of one day bringing the murderer of his  wife and daughter to justice.

Patrick Jane formerly had a lucrative career as a con man successfully posing as a psychic medium and enjoying near-celebrity status. He appeared on television to claim that his paranormal abilities helped the police profile a serial killer named Red John. Red John, angered by the perceived slight, murdered Jane's wife and young daughter in revenge. Riddled with remorse, Jane consequently abandoned his career as a psychic and teamed up with the CBI, using his skills to help them solve various crimes. His main focus is on the cases involving Red John or Red John copycats. He admits to faking the supernatural aspects of his skills, often asserting that "there's no such thing as psychics", yet he has finely honed skills in cold reading, hypnotism, and pickpocketing, as well as powerful observational skill and a deep insight into the  human psyche and behavior. These skills come in handy in every episode, and his unorthodox and bizarre techniques to solve crimes sometimes offend the team of agents he works with. They often involve elaborate ruses and mind games to trick the culprit into confessing.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES [2010] [SEASON 2] EPISODE 04

Synopsis:

The series follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who falls for a century-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Their lives grow more and more complicated as Stefan's vicious brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) returns to town with a vendetta against his brother. Both brothers begin to show affection towards Elena, mainly because of her resemblance to their past love Katherine. It is revealed that Katherine is Elena's doppleganger, who eventually returns with plans against the trio.

The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural history. Other storylines revolve around the other inhabitants of the town, most notably Elena's younger brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). The town's politics are orchestrated by descendants of the original founding families, all comprising a "Founders' Council". They guard the town mainly from vampires, but also creatures such as werewolves and witches, some of whom are themselves members of the Founders' Council.

Synopsis:
